Considering the iffy way both Kamala and Walz got on the presidential ticket, I don’t think the Corporate Dems would have any trouble in dumping both.
But to do so would amount to a total surrender by the Party elders, not knowing it would take 30-40 years to scratch their way back using the marked routes used since the 1824 election just to begin the process a news. The election of Lincoln in 1860 ended a process that had begun with John Adams’, Lincoln’s assassination in 1864 thus ending the Republican’s attempt to re-target the “we hold these truths to be self-evident” direction that Jefferson quoted in the Declaration and Lincoln restated at Gettysburg. John Wilkes Booth guaranteed this when he uttered “Sic Semper Tyrannis” on the stage at Ford’s Theater, in April, 1865, just three weeks after Lee had surrendered at Appomattox Court House.
I started comparing the “inside Washington” and “inside America” events after Lincoln died in 1865 when I took note of the similarities of the attempt on Trump’s life at Butler, PA just under a month ago. It seems that Booth was trying to keep a hold onto certain ways of life and privilege in America that Lincoln had just disposed of, making no end of enemies in corporate government of those days, 1860-65. It would be 1990s that I would watch the front office of textile corporations replace thousands of steady production jobs with added in favor of longer tables in the departmental board rooms. It would be the early 90s, while consulting in Ukraine (Kharkov) and Russia (Gorkiy) that I would be able to distinguish between Russian and Ukrainian views of “the workers”, or that the inability of Soviet managers and planners to be able to tell Chairman Gorbachev that it would require tearing down the Soviet bureaucracy (apparatchiki) in order to reopen the nuclear facilities.
Donald Trump had proved this same “law” in his 2017-2020 term, also having proved he could accomplish an even broader change in government, by reducing its in just 4 short years. even in a time of war. I should probably ask Larry Schweikart of Patriot’s History of the the United States fame (along with Michael Allen) if he sees any similarities between the politics of “taking back America” in 1865-thru-1942 and the effort of the “corporate America” of that era to consolidate power behind an east coast front office, subordinating the people’s power to limit that delegation of power “to the people” ending at their state capital, instead of extending that power to another floor of the federal government office-building. It should a worthy discussion or debate subject in this next election.
Whattaya think, Dr Schweikart?
In 2022 I did a series of articles about what the Left might try to do to upend a second Trump run. They cheated in several swing states, and got away with it, and no one asked SCOTUS to intervene in the proper way. I plan to update them here in a series, as things have changed…the states are trying to stay ahead of Trump…and yes, someone(s) in their midst are trying to shoot him, and it only took 3 weeks for good men and women in Congress to see it was likely an inside job.
But they still have “troops” stationed around the country, only not just ANTIFA, but drug cartel-for-hire, a litany of options, and we need to consider options about reacting to them, from riots, to blighting their path without shooting them (fatally). Kyle Rittenhouse injected a rock-solid self-defense rule which has made it a very scary enterprise versus the ease by which hired gangsters took down much of Tim Walz response in 2020. So we’ll be comparing “back to the drawing board” plans later this fall. I’ve already covered several of the subjects here,
It will help if you read them, then discuss with your mates, and contact me with feedback and questions. Much of the fear factor will be injected from your home town.
They really do plan to have Donald Trump removed from the ballot. Let SCOTUS and your state and local politicians know you’re not going to be written out of the equation.
