Why Donald Trump Will Win in the End, a Theological View

It’s sad but true that many people worship Donald Trump as a demigod; a lesser divinity. Trump doesn’t take himself that seriously, and would likely be amused. And since my grandmother, well into her 70s, felt the same about Elvis Presley, I suppose it’s harmless enough.

But God has very much to do with Donald Trump being where he is today. There is an alternate theory of God and Donald Trump, namely that he was sent here to punish us, which I’ll discuss at the end But first, my theory.

If you believe in God you must believe one or the other. If you don’t believe in God at all then you can still be a conservative, but will always be a 2nd Class conservative, for without an Invisible Hand you cannot logically deduce why America was born in the first place, and must have some other purpose, most likely self-serving, for claiming to be a conservative.

My view is that Donald Trump is God’s instrument, with the very specific task of tearing down the pillars and bricks of the Temple of the Ruling Class which the worst sorts of Americans have built to worship themselves on the backs of the people for whom this Holy Ground was proclaimed.

We’ve had other times in our history where similar bloodings have had to occur, but being so young a nation we have not yet written a large enough book to be able to thumb back through the pages to find understandable patterns in the ebb and flow of our history. Hell, it took the French 800 years just to find out they were worthless, and another 400 for the rest of the world to agree.

What we know is that because of the special circumstances of our birth, some say Bastardy and some say Divine (much as some mockers today like to poke fun at the birth of Jesus), the patterns of history for the rest of the world do not exactly apply. America is a case of first instance in all the thousands of years Man has dwelt on this earth so cannot be measured by any other nations’ sojourn here.

Which brings us back to God.

I would love to see the divine origins of America taught in college, maybe just a five-hour bloc, but not as History, rather as Natural Science, maybe even Physics, for just as scientists cannot explain the origins of the universe without there having been an Invisible Hand, an Intelligence, or oops!, a Creator, neither can any soft or hard science explain how, after 5000 years of going in one, and only one, direction, which on every occasion would lead to war, mass death, enslavement, poverty, and destruction, suddenly there would appear a new order for mankind based on reciprocity and built on the backs of yeoman farmers and clerks instead of conquerors and kings.

(Yes, these were the same types of people Christ preached to while the various ruling classes conspired to hang Him.)

We may well be locked in the end days of the first American Epoch, for it’s clear the forces of the Old Order have marshaled ALL their forces to finally put down this American bastard and return the world to its original plan. I emphasize ALL here because in order to accomplish this the Dark Forces have had to enlist many conservative voices who simply can no longer abide the idea that there is anything great or good about America that would choose a Donald Trump…and not listen to them instead.

Both Matthew and Luke tell the story of Christ’s confrontation in the wildness, where Satan openly declared himself as the “political head of the whole world” (from Mark Twain and the theme of a book I have in progress) when he laid open for Jesus to see the kingdoms of the world, then offered to make Jesus king of all of them if He would only bow down to him, “for they have been commissioned to me to give to anyone I choose”.

Just as the Old Testament draws a thin red line from Abraham leading to the birth of Christ, a similar line can be drawn directly from the Good News going out from Jerusalem after Christ’s ascension to it coming ashore at Jamestown 1600 years later, giving birth to the greatest freak of history known to man, a nation of free men and women who answered to no king, and built on the Golden Rule, as laid down by Jesus, to “reciprocate with your neighbor as you would have him reciprocate with you.”

The birth of America challenged Old Clootie’s status as the ranking head of the political world.

And it was by Design.

Scientifically, if America were a biological mutation it should have quickly died out, rejected by surrounding populations as a freak, unable to replicate itself, or grow in size and vigor. If America is an accident on what laws of Nature can one draw to provide a working theory as to how it might happen in Nature, since there is no record of other such mutations having been born, much less survive?

America as an historical event only makes sense, biological sense, in the same way the creation of the universe only makes sense, if it came about by Intelligent Design. A Creator. God.

America cannot be an accident. Still many prominent American conservatives, perhaps because it isn’t fashionable nowadays, or perhaps unsteadying to their standing inside their courts of approval, or perhaps because they never really believed in all that religious mumbo-jumbo about the Founders in the first place, have difficulty in including the miracle part of America in their conservative equation. And besides, God was taken out of the conservatism entrance exam at the same time the common man was exiled from the talk of polite company.

Having been allowed to omit connecting those extra few dots over the years, now, because all his Left wing cards are on the table, Satan is calling in all his markers with his country club conservatives, who he purchased over the years, appealing to vanity, arrogance, power, social status…you know, all the things the New York Times and Washington Post pass out like candy when they need a cheap way to say “Welcome to the Club.”

The object here isn’t Trump, but America who must fall, for Old Clootie’s plan was always to upend God’s design to liberate the little people, the common men and women, sent to these shores to topple his 5000 year-old top-down political system. Freeing mankind was God’s original purpose in Jerusalem, and America was to be His latest (final?) expression that mankind could copy for time immemorial.

So, in answer to the few professing Christian #NeverTrumpers who may be considering joining the Temple call in Washington and New York, yes, God may be fed up with His experiment in America instead of being willing to take it to the mat to see it succeed. Just be sure you’re right, then go ahead (D Crockett).

But that won’t mean you’ve chosen wisely. I won’t belabor this point, and have written over and over again that any conservatism that is not first and foremost about the American common man and woman is at best a second-class conservatism.

It would be nice if conservatives from time to time spoke…approvingly…of the common man and woman, for make no bones about it, it was about and for them the Constitution was written. Understanding this is what distinguishes between the conservative elite and the self-appointed faux-conservative elitist.

That is where your “godliness” gets a failing grade.

I have offered on behalf of many fine thinkers and writers who agree with me to debate this point. Only I know few on the other side who will, in part because 1) they cannot provide an alternative theory, in science or history, as to how America might have come to be, or 2) their core conservative beliefs are not based on philosophy only they cannot allow themselves to view the common man and women as the Founders did, but rather as modern intellectuals do. In other words, they do not want to have to expose just how much like the Left they have defined themselves.

Simply stated, Donald Trump represents an end to their power and their status. The idea that the people really do rule, and should, is anathema to them.

Still, Donald Trump is president because God wills it. (Mash’allah, as they say in Minneapolis.)

It’s a dicey risk to draw too close an analogy between Christ and Donald Trump. But Christ died because God willed it. In the process He exposed high Roman civilization for what it really was, an empty shell, for it knowingly condemned and executed an innocent Man. yet still slept well at night. And He exposed the vanity and arrogance of existing Jewish religious leaders, first by sending Christ out to preach to their lower classes, introducing a concept of loving one’s neighbor, (unknown in the ancient world until it first appeared in the New Testament writings) then chastising them for turning their backs on God and looking down on their people.

Similarly Trump has exposed a corrupt, self-indulgent civilization and hasn’t threatened, but promised, to tear its temple down, on behalf of the same walked-over people Christ preached to. He has turned over table in their temple, threatened to tear it down, pillar by pillar, brick by brick, and I swear, I can think of  no man more capable of not only tearing all that down, and draining its swamp, but also drawing up the plans to rebuilt over it, than Donald J Trump.

So let it begin in earnest.

The closest Donald Trump can come to being crucified is to be impeached. And yes, he will also be innocent.

But he will still win. God wills it. He will not be denied His plan.
